EJP's Policy and Research Team looks forward to hosting a series of biweekly discussions regarding pending legislation this semester. These educational sessions are open to anyone who wishes to learn more about pending legislation related to the Illinois criminal legal system and related topics. Each meeting will focus on a few bills. Attendees will be able to receive information about current bills that impact our community directly from the advocates working on these bills and ask questions about policy and process.
All Spring 2026 Discussions About Pending Legislation will take place on Zoom from 5:00 to 6:00 pm Central Time. The sessions will take place every other Wednesday on the following dates:
- March 11th
- March 25th
- April 8th
- April 22nd
- May 6th
