RSVP: Reentry Simulation Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Reentry Simulation co-facilitated by the Education Justice Project (EJP) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the Restorative Justice Initiative (RJI) at The Pennsylvania State University. The purpose of the simulation is to provide insight into the barriers and challenges individuals may face when returning to their communities after incarceration. Additional volunteer training will be provided by RJI ahead of the simulation to ensure we are engaging in this space thoughtfully and respectfully.

Location: The University YMCA (1001 S Wright Street, Champaign Urbana)
Date: October 10, 2026
Volunteer Timeframe: 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM
