Happy Holidays! EJP looks forward to hosting a lunch, open house, and RIPPLE card-writing session from 12:00 to 3:00 pm Central Time on Reading Day (Thursday, December 10th, 2026). All events will take place on the second floor of the University YMCA (1001 S. Wright St, Champaign, IL 61820):
- Lunch from 12 to 1 pm
- RIPPLE Effect and Open House from 1 to 3 pm
Anyone is welcome to stop by the EJP offices to enjoy snacks and cookies and to participate in an in-house RIPPLE Effect session, where we will write cards for incarcerated community members. This RSVP is optional; please feel free to bring friends and colleagues, even if they have not signed up!
Please note that we will also be hosting an end-of-semester celebration for EJP's interns from 3 to 6 pm on the same day. Anyone attending the Open House is welcome to participate in this as well!
